Antalya, on Turkey's stunning Turkish Riviera (Mediterranean coast), is one of the world's top beach destinations—especially for all-inclusive resorts. As of 2026, it continues to draw massive crowds (millions annually, with Russians as the largest group—often 20-25% of visitors—followed by Germans, Brits, Poles, and Ukrainians). The weak lira keeps prices excellent value compared to Greece or Western Europe: luxury all-inclusives often cost €150–400/night (sometimes less in shoulder seasons), with unlimited food, drinks, entertainment, and activities.
The city splits into key resort zones: Lara Beach (near the airport, long sandy beaches, family/luxury focus), Belek (golf paradise, ultra-premium), Kemer (scenic mountains + sea), Side (ancient ruins + beaches), and Konyaaltı (urban beach vibe). Most top resorts are all-inclusive (ultra all-inclusive common: premium drinks, à la carte dining, spas).
Best Areas for Different Vibes

Lara Beach — Closest to Antalya Airport (10–20 min transfer). Wide, sandy Blue Flag beaches; huge all-inclusive resorts; family-heavy with waterparks/slides; some nightlife.

Turkey's Aegean and Mediterranean coast has many developed tourist spots directly opposite popular Greek islands—often cheaper due to the weaker Turkish lira vs. euro, making all-inclusives, drinks, and accommodations more affordable. This draws crowds shifting from Greece.
Key ferry routes (fast catamarans/ferries, seasonal but running in 2026):

Rhodes → Marmaris — ~45–60 minutes (daily sailings in season via operators like Sea Dreams; ~€60+ one-way).

Kos → Bodrum (ancient Halicarnassus) — ~30–45 minutes (multiple daily options via Makri Travel, Exas, etc.; often 15–30+ sailings/week; ~€17–€80 depending on operator/time).

Kastellorizo (Meis) → Kaş — Short hop (very close, frequent small ferries).

Cyprus (e.g., Ayia Napa area) → Antalya — Not direct ferry; usually flight or longer routes, but Antalya is a major hub.

These crossings are straightforward for day trips or longer stays—check schedules on sites like Ferryhopper, Direct Ferries, or NetFerry, as they vary by season/weather.

Why Turkey appeals now — Lower costs (strong value for money), all-inclusive resorts, and easy access draw many tourists away from pricier Greek spots. Russian and Ukrainian visitors especially favor it.
Visa Advantages for Russians/Ukrainians in Turkey
Russian citizens enjoy visa-free entry to Turkey for tourism/business up to 60 days (extendable in some cases; total 90 days in 180). Ukrainians have similar easy access (visa-free or simple e-visa). This makes Turkey a top choice—no Schengen hassles.
Result: Turkish coastal resorts (Marmaris, Bodrum, Antalya, etc.) see huge numbers of Russian/Ukrainian tourists—often flooding beaches/clubs with fit, outgoing women in groups or solo. Antalya alone hosted millions of Russians in recent years (e.g., ~3.9M in first 10 months of 2025, ~60% of Russia's Turkey flow). This creates abundance for meeting people if that's your goal.
Cyprus note — Places like Ayia Napa (southern Cyprus) are similar hotspots—wild nightlife, easy access for Russians/Ukrainians (visa-free or simple), and a reputation as one of the best party scenes around.
Situation in Greece (Visa Changes & Russian Influx)
Greece (as Schengen) requires Russians to get a Schengen visa—no visa-free. The EU suspended facilitation in 2022 (post-Ukraine invasion), raised fees/full docs, and in late 2025 further restricted multiple-entry visas (now mostly single-entry only, except humanitarian cases). This makes repeat visits harder/expensive.
Despite this:

Economic pressures (tourism competition from Turkey/Bulgaria) led Greek embassies/consulates to ease processing somewhat in recent years (2024–2025), issuing more visas (e.g., ~60,000+ in some reports).

Result: Tens of thousands of Russians (including higher-income women) arrived in Dodecanese (Rhodes, Kos) and Crete especially. Locals noted a noticeable uptick—some Greek guys were thrilled by the "fresh arrivals."

Local dynamics & stereotypes (from observations):

Many Greek men are drawn to Russian/Ukrainian/Belarusian women—often citing looks, confidence, and energy.

Some Russian women are seen as pragmatic/materialistic (e.g., pursuing older/wealthier partners, sometimes leading to marriages/divorces where inheritance/pensions become issues). This sparks resentment among local women, who feel it disrupts the "market" (more supply of attractive, fit women without matching influx of desirable Russian men—many described as problematic drinkers).

Common local gripes: Russian women labeled "materialistic," "provincial," or lowering standards/prices in dating scene. Germans/other Northern Europeans sometimes echo reluctance due to similar perceptions.

Broader context: Influx isn't balanced (fewer "decent" Russian men arrive), so it shifts dynamics—some Greek women feel competitive pressure.

Overall, if you're into Slavic/Eastern European scenes, Turkey offers easier access and higher volume (visa-free + cheap), while Greece has improved but remains more restricted/expensive. Islands like Rhodes/Kos still see Russians, but Turkey (Marmaris/Bodrum/Antalya) dominates for abundance.
If you're planning a trip, share more details (e.g., from which Greek spot, budget, vibe), and I can refine suggestions!

When choosing a Greek island (especially if traveling solo to meet women), start with these basics:

Are you going as a couple or solo (to meet/flirt with girls)?

Do you prefer heavy partying/drinking scenes or a quieter, more relaxed vibe?

What nationalities of women interest you most? (e.g., English/British, Scandinavian, Slavic, Italian, German, etc.)

Your answers will point to the best spots. I've explored nearly all the major Greek islands and spent extended time on several, so here's a practical breakdown based on current patterns (party tourism hasn't changed dramatically in recent years).

For Heavy Partying & "Easy" Hookups (Primarily English/British Tourists)
These are classic British stag/hen party hotspots with wild nightlife, cheap drinks, foam parties, and a very direct, alcohol-fueled scene. English girls often travel in big groups, dress provocatively (mini skirts, crop tops), drink heavily, and can be very forward if interested—no elaborate game required. However, be extremely cautious with very drunk encounters: UK laws consider sex with someone too intoxicated to consent as rape, and false accusations have cost people dearly in the past.

Top spots:

Faliraki (Rhodes)

Malia (Crete)

Kavos (Corfu)

Kardamena (Kos)

Laganas (Zakynthos)
These areas are packed with young Brits (18–30s), bars blasting music until dawn, and girls who may go from club to beach/toilet hookup quickly. English guys can be territorial and cockblock, but if she likes you, it's often straightforward.

For Scandinavian Women
Scandinavians (Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, etc.) tend to be open, flirty, and physical in conversation (close talking, playful touching). They enjoy Mediterranean charm and flirting/dancing but often draw a line at anything serious—preferring one-night fun or even heading home to girlfriends/dildos afterward to avoid drama. They're experienced travelers with preconceptions about nationalities (Mediterraneans rank lower than Nordics/Anglos on their "ladder," so strong looks, fitness, and confidence help).
Better spots (more upscale/relaxed towns, less extreme boozing):

Rhodes Town

Kos Town

Corfu Town

Scandinavians often mix well with English crowds but prefer cleaner, more sophisticated areas.

For Italian Women
Italians flock to Greece in summer (especially August vacations). They prefer stylish, scenic islands with good beaches and vibe.
Prime areas:

Cyclades islands (e.g., Mykonos, Paros, Naxos, Ios)

Rhodes (in peak season)

For Slavic Women (Russian, Polish, Czech, Slovak, Serbian, etc.)
Slavs often travel in mixed groups/families, so spots feel more family-friendly and affordable (cheaper accommodations, free or low-cost beach access—no mandatory umbrella rentals). They stick together and get along across nationalities. Less "party-hard" vibe, more relaxed beach days.
Top locations:

Northern Greece mainland spots: Paralia Katerini, Olympic Beach, Leptokarya

Thassos (Thasos)

Lefkada

Rhodes (Lindos area) — Russians have increased here lately, though more scattered

Also common on bigger islands: Rhodes, Crete, Kos

Advantage: Cheaper overall, fewer aggressive umbrella vendors blocking approaches.

For German Women
Germans are more reserved, serious, and intellectual—expect polite, deep conversations (they discuss anything from politics to kinks without taboos). They appear "manly" to some (tall, square jaws, deeper voices, often a few extra kg, smaller curves), value substance over flash, and dislike superficial guys. Show cultural interest and southern warmth to stand out (they sometimes tire of "cold" German men).
Popular areas:

Rhodes Town and Kolymbia

Crete (Ammoudara)

Kos Town

General rule: Tour operators avoid mixing Germans with English groups (historical tensions lead to fights). English-heavy spots are German-free; German areas attract similar Northern Europeans (Dutch, Scandinavians).

Practical Tips for Approaching on Beaches/Clubs

Umbrella vendors are a huge cockblock—they guard paying clients and hate you chatting up "their" tourists without renting (€7–€9/day on Rhodes/Mykonos). Avoid crowded paid beaches; seek free/public ones.

Beach/coffee prices are inflated. Many tourists stick to all-inclusive hotels or cheap gyros/souvlaki to save for nightlife.

Mykonos stands apart: Ultra-expensive, celebrity/model scene, huge gay population/cruises. Great for impressing a girlfriend or high-end vibes, but not ideal for casual pickups.

Best Islands for Couples (Already Have a Girlfriend/Partner)
These are romantic, couple-heavy spots where few guys will hit on your partner (everyone's paired up). Focus on relaxation, views, and intimacy—not meeting new people.
Top recommendations:

Santorini — Iconic sunsets, caldera views, honeymoon classic

Skiathos — Charming, great food, balanced nightlife

Samos — Authentic, less crowded, nature-focused

Paros — Relaxed chic vibe (Naoussa especially)

Naxos, Ikaria, and other smaller islands

Avoid party zones if you want peace.

Good day to everyone, Recently, I had the opportunity to spend a few days in Nairobi, and I would want to share some information with anyone who is considering traveling to this region of the world, which is not very well-known with tourists. Due to the fact that my vacation was just seven days long, I was unable to do any sightseeing outside of the capital city. However, I would have like to do so because Kenya is an incredible place to visit.

A few observations regarding the city

Even though I was unlucky enough to get heavy rains pretty much every day, the locals told me before I came that there had been no rain for weeks. It is actually extremely contemporary and developed for an African city, and it has a beautiful climate. At night, the temperature drops quite a little; you might want to wear a jacket. The city itself has a sense of security, which is significantly higher than that of Johannesburg, for example. It offers a variety of cuisine alternatives that are satisfactory, as well as certain high-end establishments, particularly in the Westlands neighborhood. Additionally, getting around the city is quite simple and inexpensive, thanks to the availability of Uber and boda (motorbikes). There is also the option of booking a bike through Uber, which is not the safest choice but is more cost-effective and quicker. I was astounded by how quickly one could travel around the city. The traffic was not too awful for a city with a population of 5 million people. If you have ever been to towns such as Kampala or Dakar, you will understand what I mean. It may take several hours to simply leave the city. In addition, there is that expressway, which is a toll road, which allows you to skip all of the traffic while traveling from the airport to virtually any location within the city in a span of less than forty minutes. Both the Westlands and the Central Business District are of primary interest. Westlands is a posh neighborhood that is a hub for expats and is home to some of the top restaurants, nightclubs, and other establishments. When compared to other African cities, Central Business District (CBD) is significantly more local, you hardly ever see foreigners, it is crowded and not particularly safe, but it is clearly lot cleaner and better organized. In addition to the airport, there is also Nairobi National Park, which I did not visit despite the fact that it is said to be quite cool and that you can book a half-day trip for less than one hundred dollars and see a lot of animals. The Giraffe Center, on the other hand, is a place where you can feed giraffes; if my memory serves me correctly, it costs ten dollars, and it's very cool. A thirty-minute drive will get you to Nairobi.

The women

Well, let's get down to the meat of the matter. The events that I had were rather intriguing, and I am able to share my thoughts on them. To begin, I would say that Nairobi is by far the easiest place I've gone so far, if you want to get laid for free and if you want to score sevens and higher. I hope you enjoy your time there! I have traveled to all of these fundamental RVF places, including Manila, Bangkok, Jakarta, and Phuket. In addition, I have traveled to Dakar, Johannesburg, and Kampala that are located in Africa. I was pleasantly delighted to realize that the alternatives were pretty much infinite, and the attention I was getting on the streets and at nightclubs was wild. I had read several entries on this site that claimed that Kenyan women are difficult or not as easy as Ugandan women, for example. Despite the fact that there are a lot of expats in that area, you shouldn't expect to walk into a nightclub and have all of the women throwing parties for you simply because you are white. In spite of this, I have found that it is significantly superior that Manila or Bangkok.

A game played online

With Tinder Premium, I was able to get about a thousand likes in only three days, and I had pretty much an infinite number of alternatives, as you might imagine. When you acquire a thousand likes on Tinder, you will undoubtedly have some great options as well (I would estimate somewhere between 10 and 20 percent), and with a lot of them, it is quite straightforward, and you can plan a date almost immediately, such as meet them a few hours later. Tinder's quality is pretty low, just like it is everywhere else in the world. Certain individuals will humbly plead you, and if you do not respond to their messages, they will continue to bombard you with messages. Through Tinder, I was able to meet three girls, and I ended up going out with all of them! It was two of them that went directly to my room. None of them made a request for financial assistance (Uganda, for example). To avoid being taken advantage of, I initially attempted to make a video call. Yes, it is quite simple to bang two different girls every day in this location; nevertheless, after a while, it becomes monotonous, and to tell you the truth, I became exhausted pretty quickly.

Comparison with Manila

Because I was in Manila two weeks ago and utilized the same tactics (Tinder and nightlife), and because a lot of people believe Manila to be the easiest city in the world, I would want to provide my viewpoint on how these two cities compare to each other. To tell you the truth, it is not even close to being as simple as it is in Nairobi. If I banged five girls in three days in Nairobi, I would bang four girls in five days in Manila. In Manila, I received approximately 700 likes on Tinder, but in Nairobi, I received one thousand likes. Quality is far higher in Nairobi; I was able to bang several 7 and 8 while in Manila, I was only able to bang some 6.5 at best. As well as a few fives. The process of setting dates in Nairobi is a lot less complicated. There are a lot of attractive girls in Manila who will never react to you on Tinder, or they won't agree to a date that quickly, or they will be all over the place. To my knowledge, I did not encounter any flaking while in Nairobi; but, I am certain that it is possible elsewhere. I received more attention in Nairobi when I went to nightclubs, although I did receive some attention in Manila as well. Expats are in abundance in Makati, which, in my opinion, results in a great deal of competitiveness and, as a consequence, hostile attitudes.

This is in comparison to Kampala.

A comparison with Kampala is also quite fascinating because it is a neighboring nation. I was there in October for three days as well, and a lot of people report that Uganda is much simpler and more liberal in terms of getting laid than Kenya is. When I was there, I remember getting laid with four different girls, but two of them asked me for money afterward, which was a horrific experience that left me feeling disgusted. I get laid with four different girls. Also, the quality was significantly inferior. To tell you the truth, I didn't try out a lot of online dating; the only platform I used was Badoo, which isn't nearly as effective as Tinder. However, the nightlife was full with professionals; in certain locations, such as Kabalagala, it seemed like every single lady there was working. I even went to a very local place in a different neighborhood, where there were no foreigners. There, I met a girl, and she came to my room the next morning. She demanded taxi money, telling me that she needs to go to Entebbe and asking for approximately ten euros. However, when I asked her last night at the club where she is staying, she told me that she is only five minutes away. However, I just didn't want to go into any more trouble, so I handed over the money to her. However, I was left feeling really dissatisfied with the entire experience. I believe that Nairobi nightlife has a significantly larger number of regular girls than Kampala nightlife does. These girls have normal professions and will not ask you for any money from them; all they want to do is have sex with you. There are, without a doubt, professionals in both Tinder and nightclubs, but the most of them are transparent in advance, so you can just disregard them.

When it comes to nightlife, I am aware of two distinct areas: Westlands and the Central Business District. They told me that things are pretty much dead during the weekdays in Nairobi, and that there is a more mellow feeling rather than partying. I went to Nairobi on a Saturday, and I made the decision to go out only on Saturday night. While the Central Business District (CBD) is much more local, Westlands is just full of expatriates and was the only location I went to. In general, I stick to the local establishments and steer clear of the places frequented by expatriates. However, in this particular instance, I heard that the majority of locations in the central business district are lounges with tables and bottle service, which makes it very difficult to socialize. Because I am traveling alone, I made the decision to remain in Westlands. I went to two different locations.

Alchemist: It is full of expatriates (about 70 percent), it does not feel like Africa at all, and I was quite disappointed by the crowd. If you are seeking for Kenyan women, you will be disappointed, at least that was the case during my night. I ordered a beer and sat down at the bar when a Chinese girl approached me (she was barely a five) and began making sexual advances toward me. I was quite dissatisfied with the location, and I believed that the evening would be a flop. However, because she was making it abundantly apparent what she intended to do, I made the decision to give it a shot, and we agreed to leave with her car to go to my apartment. Given that it was still one in the morning, I made the decision to check on Brew Bistro, which is another well-known establishment in the area. There were perhaps thirty percent of people who were expatriates, there was some nice talent (though it wasn't particularly exceptional), I had a few locals who were interested in me, and there was a dancing floor, which made it simple to interact with other people. I noticed that one of the most attractive girls in the club, who was probably a size eight, was checking on me, and I made the decision to talk to her before I left. She was quite pleasant, and we left the club together. However, she informed me that it was too late, and that she was feeling like heading home at the moment. However, she said that we could get together the next day. In spite of the fact that the sex was quite subpar, I ended up hitting her the following day.

What is the dark side of women in Nairobi?

Up until this point, I have only discussed the positive aspects, making it sound like a paradise for poosies instead. While that is true, and I believe that it is exceedingly easy for a young white man to not only get bedded, but also score high quality, there are also a lot of negative things about my experience with Kenyan women, which also applies to African women in general, there are also a lot of negative parts about my experience with Kenyan women. In the first place, Kenya is a very impoverished nation, and the minimum wage is one hundred dollars a month. The Philippines and Thailand, for example, are both not quite as poor as this country. I believe that one of the reasons women are falling so readily for immigrants is because they are expecting for a better future. Women, in general, are quite desperate, and I believe that this is being one of the causes. I am not implying that the women I went with did not want to actually have sex with me or that they did not anticipate anything after we had sexual relations, but it is possible that some of them attempted to take advantage of the circumstance. Two of the girls, one of whom I had a date with on Tinder, and the girl who looked like a model from the club remained in contact with me. Because I am a flight attendant, I informed them that I will be returning on Saturday for a single day due to the nature of my profession. Both asked me to bring a gift from my home country, such as a perfume or chocolate from Dubai, and I agreed to meet their request. I instantly stopped messaging both of them after seeing it, as I had lost interest in them both at that moment. That being said, I get the impression that this is a problem that is not unique to Kenya; the same thing happened to the girls that I dated in South Africa and other places. Even though she had just returned from working in Saudi Arabia for two years (and earning a respectable salary, she was in possession of an iPhone 12), the Tinder date was still requesting presents. In a relationship, especially with someone you have just met, I strongly oppose the idea of being the one who provides for the other person. It is impossible for something like this to occur in Thailand or even in the Philippines. It is true that you are supposed to pay for Uber, for food, and other expenses; however, asking someone you have just met to bring you gifts is a matter of a whole different level for me and a major warning sign. The mechanics of dating are radically different from my expectations, and I didn't really have the urge to see any of these ladies again, which is something that doesn't typically happen in, for example, Southeast Asia. I felt as though it was hard to build a genuine connection with these girls.

The second significant aspect of African women is that the majority of them are terrible around the bedtime. Remember that this is based on my own personal experience, and I really want to believe that I'm just unfortunate and that this can't possibly be the case. On the other hand, everyone is talking about how black women are freaks in bed, and how once you go black, you never go back, and how they know how to move, and so on and so forth. I have had the opportunity to interact with approximately ten African women from three different nations, and my observations have shown that, on average, they are much more problematic than Latinas, Asians, or Europeans. It is possible that a significant number of them, perhaps even half of them or even more, are unable to climb on top of you and ride you. My opinion is that this is really absurd because I have never had a girl from a continent other than Africa tell me that I am not good at top or that I do not know how to ride you. On the other hand, a significant number of them in Kenya and Uganda just told me that they were either sorry or that they just did not know how to do it. Some of them were extremely reserved in bed, despite the fact that they were not shy in general. There were a few of them who were hardly moving and not making any effort from their end, despite the fact that I was making a remarkable effort to fulfill their needs. Despite the fact that one of them was from Kenya and the other was from Uganda, both of them were actually extremely good. Please remember to take this information with a grain of salt because it is based on my own personal experience. It is possible that it will be totally different for someone else, but I would want to share my opinion.

In conclusion, my time spent in Nairobi was a positive experience; I found the city and my stay there to be really enjoyable. I have the impression that it is a gorgeous location, in contrast to Kampala, which is overpowering and busy, and Johannesburg, which gives off the impression of being excessively westernized and white and somewhat uninteresting. The city of Nairobi, in my opinion, is located somewhere in the middle, in this perfect place. That is the spot to go if you want to score some hotties with the least amount of work possible because getting bedded is incredibly simple there. At the end of the day, I came to the conclusion that African ladies might not be my thing; yet, I am still thankful that I got the opportunity to visit this wild city and receive these stories.

According to the Japan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, fewer than 20% of Japanese people have a passport. Many of these individuals are "never travelers" who are content with domestic trips within Japan. Over 35% of Japanese citizens report having no intention of traveling abroad again. It wouldn’t be surprising if a significant portion of passport holders primarily use them for business travel.

For reference:
- America: ~42% (2017)
- Australia: ~57% (2020)
- China: ~8.7% (2016)
- Germany: ~41% (2018)
- Canada: ~70% (2022)
- Tanzania: ~13% (2020)
- UK: 86%—which isn’t surprising. How else are they going to find some sun?

While the United States is often labeled as insular, it is nowhere near as inward-looking as Japan. American pop culture is a massive global export, and wherever Americans travel, they generally find accommodations for their language, food, and overall preferences. In contrast, Japanese travelers who don’t speak English may struggle significantly abroad unless they’ve prepared with translation tools. The experience is vastly different.

Japan remains highly homogeneous and inward-facing, sheltered from the outside world in ways few other places are, especially outside major cities. Being a foreigner in Japan often feels more isolating than in many other countries. Historically, Japan has been an insular culture, bordering on isolationism, so this shouldn’t be surprising.

Japan stands out for its cleanliness, discipline, and commitment to the collective good. However, when it comes to human relationships and the social fabric, there are deep concerns about its future. The solitude one might feel here can be profound, especially for those without a close companion. Married middle-aged men, willing to pay $500 just for a night of platonic companionship, illustrate the depths of emotional isolation. Young adults, still living with their parents, often focus only on work and their immediate social circles, spending significant amounts on fleeting moments of social validation instead of saving for long-term goals.

A large portion of the population shows little interest in learning English, traveling, or broadening their horizons. Some of this stems from genuine disinterest, but for many, financial constraints force resignation. Then there are the thousands of shop assistants on minimum wage, whose daily routines revolve around cheap ramen, video games, and escapism through anime and figurines. Even more concerning is the phenomenon of hikikomori—individuals who have withdrawn entirely from society, with some not leaving their homes since high school.

Faced with these contrasts, one might reconsider the balance between the struggles of a developing country, where people fight daily for survival, and a developed society that seems to be slowly fading into inertia. Would one prefer the vibrant chaos of Manila’s streets or the quiet despair of a declining Japan?

That said, Osaka is a fantastic city to live in—if one has the time and financial freedom to enjoy it. The sheer number of restaurants and bars is staggering, enough to visit a different one every day for over a decade. It’s also incredibly safe and bike-friendly, with a well-structured grid layout unlike Tokyo’s sprawl. Traffic regulations are relatively relaxed, making exploration easy and enjoyable.

Unfortunately, my own experience was largely confined to working from my hotel room. Without work, I wouldn’t have been able to afford the trip in the first place, so it’s a trade-off.

What stood out most to me was the current state of Japanese society. The older generation seems to go through the motions of daily life, their only real social outlet being monthly nomikai—drinking sessions with colleagues. Given the stagnant economy, this is often all they can afford. Gone are the days of the 1980s and early 90s, when disposable income allowed for frequent travel and luxury shopping.

The younger generation appears even more resigned to their urban routines, lacking curiosity about the world. The English-learning booms of Nova and Aeon in the early 2000s signaled an interest in expanding global perspectives, but that enthusiasm seems to have faded. Now, multiple generations exist in the present moment, adhering to whatever consumerist trends they can still afford while maintaining their disciplined collectivism.

I couldn’t ignore the subtle resentment when introducing myself and my Filipina wife. The veneer of politeness often cracks, revealing underlying frustrations. Many Japanese citizens find themselves trapped in rigid work schedules with limited financial means to travel, all while watching waves of foreign tourists take advantage of the weak yen to indulge in experiences they can’t afford themselves.

Economic data further highlights this shift. In absolute terms, Japan’s wealth now stands at just over 50% of that of the United States and is significantly below the EU average. Adjusted for purchasing power parity (PPP), Japan remains at about 75% of U.S. wealth, roughly on par with the EU. While efficiency and occasional pockets of opulence persist in large cities, sustaining this society is becoming increasingly costly.

It seems inevitable that Japan will reach a breaking point. The only real questions are when and how.

Japanese social culture can feel austere and emotionally distant. Among the world's most insular cultures, Japan often verges on self-imposed isolation. After my time there, I found myself relieved to board a plane back to Vietnam.

Critical Analysis: Ho Chi Minh City, better known as Saigon

My overall assessment of the country and its women was lackluster. Ho Chi Minh City, better known as Saigon has undergone significant transformation, evidenced by an increase in vehicular traffic and the emergence of high-end shopping complexes. This influx of capital has subsequently attracted some designer labels and expensive clubs. So lets take a closer look.

Alert: It has become increasingly prevalent for female club promoters to solicit male patrons under the pretense of a date, aiming to persuade them to reserve a table or purchase a bottle, from which they receive a commission. This has occurred to several acquaintances of mine who arrived at the place believing they were meeting for a date, only to find the female accompanied by numerous other bewildered males under the same pretense. It exists in an ambiguous gray region, and I am acquainted with some of the women involved who adeptly navigate the boundary between flirtation and plausible deniability, ensuring they do not appear to have misled you. Most typical Vietnamese women prefer that you take the initiative; so, if she directs you to a particular location, it is unequivocally a warning sign.

The Women
Let’s be real—Vietnamese women didn’t quite match the hype for me. Their appearances lean toward the understated: pale complexions, petite builds, and a reserved demeanor. While some men might find their shyness and simplicity endearing, I prefer women with more vivacity and flair.

The language barrier was an issue. Even a basic question like, “How much is this?” in English often drew blank stares—yes, even from retail workers. Proficiency in English improves slightly with the younger generation, but don’t expect smooth communication unless you’ve mastered some Vietnamese.

Despite their initial timidness, Vietnamese women can become fiercely attached—sometimes to a stalker-like degree. Their devotion can be heartwarming or overwhelming, depending on your perspective. They’re also naturally nurturing; one woman even wanted to take me to the hospital when I had an eye infection! If you're looking for a serious relationship, Vietnam has strong contenders.

Living Costs
Vietnam is delightfully affordable, even by Southeast Asian standards. My flat in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) cost just $300 per month, including utilities. Daily meals from local food stalls—pho, bun bo hue, or com suon—set me back only $1–$2. Even beer is a steal at 35 cents a pint. Gas for my motorbike? A mere $2 a week.

Outside the tourist zones, costs drop significantly. If you’re savvy and stick to local spots, your wallet will thank you. However, Saigon, the most cosmopolitan city, is pricier than rural areas or even Hanoi, which still clings to its traditional roots.

City Life in Ho Chi Minh City
Saigon is a whirlwind of activity, with scooters zipping past in organized chaos. The city has seen rapid modernization since my last visit, with high-end shopping malls and luxury brands now staking their claim in District 1. Yet, outside this cosmopolitan bubble, much of the city remains the same—a charming, chaotic mix of traditional and modern life.

I stayed in the Lancaster Serviced Apartments in District 1, which I highly recommend. Serviced apartments offer flexibility—cook if you want, entertain in the living room, and enjoy separate bedrooms for privacy. Plus, the location was excellent, with a lively side street of bars and restaurants just outside.

All areas in D1 are pedestrian-friendly, and unlike Singapore, the climate is not excessively hot and humid, preventing excessive perspiration after a short stroll. I prefer serviced apartments over hotels when traveling with friends, as they offer greater flexibility. You may cook if desired, as there is an adequate living room area for socializing and pre-drinking. Most importantly, you can invite women for an afterparty while maintaining separate private bedrooms to escort your companion(s) without disrupting the remainder of the gathering, unlike a hotel room where you would need to expel other guests. The apartments were tranquil, the staff was amiable, and the location was excellent, featuring a charming side street of bars and restaurants at your doorstep. We typically commenced our evening in a conventional bar named 5ku Station, located about a block away, where inexpensive beer and quality food are available, which patrons prepare themselves on individual mini BBQ/grill pots.

Vietnamese people often exhibit a tendency to neglect the improvement of their businesses, allowing them to deteriorate without maintenance, akin to their approach to motorbikes—purchasing new ones and operating them until they irreparably fail after 15 years, without ever servicing or cleaning them. The city resembles a polluted wasteland; it is essentially comparable to a developing nation, lacking an operational metro system, although efforts are on to establish one.

Nightlife: From Glitz to Grit
Saigon’s nightlife is as diverse as its people. Here are my top picks:

Xu Bar: A sophisticated hotspot for well-heeled expats and locals. Conversations flowed easily, and the crowd was lively yet approachable.

Blanchy’s Lounge: A quieter alternative next to Xu, perfect for intimate chats or picking up where Xu left off.

Apocalypse Now: A gritty, late-night club with an eclectic mix of characters. While the sex workers dominate on weeknights, it’s still a fun spot for drinks and banter.

Go2 Bar: Located in the backpacker district, this is your go-to for a late-night, boozy adventure. Be wary of the sneaky “no change” tactics here!

Chill Sky Bar: Upscale with stunning views but subdued midweek. Save this for a weekend splurge.

Vietnamese nightlife is ever-evolving, with new bars and clubs cropping up regularly. Keep your eyes peeled for hidden gems!

Culture and Attractions
The War Remnants Museum was a highlight for me—a sobering yet fascinating glimpse into Vietnam’s history. Entry is just $1, and it’s a must-visit for history buffs. The Cu Chi Tunnels, while a trek, were worth the trip, especially for the chance to fire AK-47s and M16s at the shooting range.

The city’s malls, on the other hand, left much to be desired. Unlike the vibrant malls in Bangkok, characterized by its international food courts and upscale retailers. Saigon’s shopping centers felt lifeless and uninspiring.

Tips for Success in Saigon

Learn Some Vietnamese: It’ll go a long way in navigating daily life and connecting with locals.

Be Cautious with “Dates”: Some club promoters feign interest to get you to splurge on a table or bottle service. Know the signs!

Stay Central: District 1 is pedestrian-friendly and offers the best mix of convenience and vibrancy.

Final Thoughts
The majority of Vietnamese women are exceedingly unremarkable. They possess unremarkable visages, exhibiting a uniformity in appearance, characterized by slender physiques, modest height, and a lack of prominent busts, rendering them easily forgettable. Imagine the Asian nerd with hair tied up in a ponytail and glasses - but the sort that doesn't look hot. That's what the majority all look like. Plain boring practical clothes, wrapped up in hoodies for riding on the streets, some old leggings or jeans, yes often they will wear a nice dress and heels (at work for example) but... it's nothing much to get excited about.

I discovered that attracting women to accompany me home was relatively simple; nonetheless, their lack of warmth and expertise in intimate situations proved somewhat exasperating. Vietnam has its charms and challenges, but for the adventurous, it’s a destination that leaves an impression—flawed, yet fascinating.

Scandinavian women are known for their unique blend of beauty, confidence, and cultural values. However, connecting with them often requires understanding the nuances of their culture, as looks or background alone won’t guarantee success. Here’s a general overview of how women from different parts of Scandinavia might differ:

Sweden
Swedish women are often considered among the most attractive in Scandinavia, known for their polished style and confidence. However, they can also be selective when it comes to forming connections, especially in cosmopolitan cities like Stockholm. While some may appreciate diversity, the dating scene can be competitive. Visiting Sweden during the summer is ideal, as the warm weather tends to make people more social and open. Outside Stockholm, places like Gotland and Båstad during events (like the tennis week) offer lively atmospheres for meeting people.

Norway
Norwegian women share many similarities with their Swedish counterparts in terms of looks and demeanor but are often slightly more approachable. Cities like Oslo offer a relaxed social environment, and the country's outdoor culture encourages friendly interactions.

Denmark
Danish women are known for their relaxed and open-minded attitudes. The culture in Denmark is generally less formal than in Sweden or Norway, which can make it easier to strike up conversations. However, while Danish women are approachable, they might not match the overall look or style often associated with Swedish or Norwegian women. Copenhagen, with its vibrant nightlife and culture, is a great place to meet locals.

Finland
Finnish women are unique in their own way, though they might differ slightly from the stereotypical Scandinavian aesthetic. They are generally polite and friendly but can seem reserved at first. Helsinki offers an excellent place to experience Finnish culture, and many find Finnish women to be more straightforward and less guarded than expected.

Insights for Visitors
If you’re planning a trip to Scandinavia with hopes of meeting women, summer is the best season. The long daylight hours and festivals make it a more social time of year. However, for those interested in a different scene, Scandinavian tourists often travel to summer destinations like Magaluf, Ayia Napa, and Sunny Beach. These spots attract a mix of travelers, often including more relaxed and approachable individuals looking to let loose.

That said, these vacation destinations tend to attract a working-class, party-focused crowd, which may not appeal to everyone. For a more refined experience, consider places like Gotland during its summer season, particularly Visby and its popular beach club, Kallis. These spots often attract a livelier but more upscale crowd.

Ultimately, Scandinavia offers a diverse range of experiences, and each country has its unique charm. Whether you're exploring the cultural streets of Stockholm, enjoying the vibrant nightlife in Copenhagen, or embracing the natural beauty of Norway, taking the time to understand local customs and engage genuinely with people will always make for a more rewarding experience.

A General Look at American Women Across Regions

The diversity of the United States extends beyond geography and culture—it’s also reflected in the personalities and characteristics of people from various regions. Women from different areas often embody unique traits shaped by local traditions, values, and lifestyles. Here’s a general breakdown of my personal observations, based on my experiences living and traveling across the country.

Midwestern Women
Midwestern women often leave a lasting impression. Places like Ohio, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and other states with strong Germanic and Scandinavian roots tend to produce down-to-earth and approachable individuals. Many of them grew up in close-knit communities with strong family values, which often reflects in their friendliness and openness. While some may perceive them as reserved or overly trusting, they frequently exhibit kindness and warmth that make them ideal partners. Their blend of looks, often favoring lighter features, and personalities makes them stand out.

Southern Women
The South is incredibly diverse, so it’s hard to generalize. In states like South Carolina, Tennessee, and Mississippi, you’ll find women who embody traditional Southern hospitality—charming, down-to-earth, and full of warmth. Alabama women, on the other hand, tend to display more assertive, confident personalities.

Florida and Louisiana women, known for their love of fun and vibrant energy, often have a more adventurous streak, with Florida women particularly drawn to socializing and partying. Texas women are a standout in the South, blending boldness and charisma with a playful charm that makes them magnetic. They’re often confident and unapologetic, qualities that many find attractive.

East Coast Women
The East Coast, with its fast-paced cities and diverse population, fosters a culture of directness and ambition. Women from areas like New York City and its surrounding boroughs are often celebrated for their straightforwardness and self-assured personalities. Meanwhile, rural parts of New England or upstate New York offer a more relaxed and grounded vibe, often reflecting a simpler, more traditional upbringing.

West Coast Women
California women tend to polarize opinions. Southern California, especially, is known for its vibrant, social-media-savvy culture and focus on appearances, which can sometimes come across as superficial. However, areas like San Diego have a more laid-back vibe, offering a refreshing change with their mix of beauty and genuineness. Northern California, on the other hand, often gets a reputation for being more insular or less approachable.

Takeaways
The U.S. is a vast and varied country, with women who embody the unique traits of their regions. While stereotypes exist, it’s essential to remember that each person is an individual shaped by countless factors beyond their geography. By appreciating these differences, you can gain a deeper understanding of how regional culture influences personality and lifestyle.

Koh Samui is a beautiful island with a terrific vibe. The number of people attending varies depending on the season. For example, there are more Australians in January, and many Israelis in September/October. Everyone goes to the same restaurant every night, the Green Mango, so this place is packed seven nights a week from around 11.30 p.m. until 3 or 4 a.m. There aren't many Russians here; everyone lives in Phuket. We picked up two Scottish females one night (both cute). I met two nice Thai girls on that trip, but I've had better luck with both Thai and Western girls in Phuket than in Koh Samui. Other times, I've picked up largely Thai girls (one really good ONS), and one of my friends had an ONS with an Australian and a British girl, although neither wore anything remarkable.

I’ve officially explored every single province of Laos! ?✨ The country has totally transformed and is no longer the go-to spot for drugs and parties! I’ve come across some amazing retiree groups outside of Luang Prabang! ? But honestly, it's still primarily all about the backpackers! The outdoor adventure industry is totally fresh and still evolving! Some spots really struggled with reliability and affordability, you guys!

Northern Laos: Just a quick tip, you can totally pass on Bokeo and Udomxai provinces!

Luang Namtha is totally the place to be for amazing sightseeing and epic trekking adventures, plus it’s super easy to connect with local ethnic communities! Hey, lovelies! So, if you're planning some epic treks, you'll be thrilled to know they're super regular and totally budget-friendly! Just a heads up, though—they often come bundled in various packages from different agencies. Happy exploring!

Phongsali is still in the early stages when it comes to infrastructure and developing a thriving tourism scene. Hey, travel fam! If you're planning your next adventure, make sure to fly from Vientiane to Boun Neau—it's where all the epic treks are happening! ?✈️ Gather a squad of 5 or more to hit the trails and skip the waiting game! Let’s make those adventure vibes happen! ?

You should totally consider adding the Lao/Tai homeland in China to your list! It's such an important part of the culture and history. Trust me, you won't regret it! Banna is the original homeland of the Lao/Tai/Dai ethnicity. How cool is that? You absolutely have to check this out when you're in the area! Trust me, you won't want to miss it!

Honestly, I wouldn’t say Laos is the ultimate destination for our community, but if you happen to find yourself there or are curious about it, here’s some basic info to get you started!

Honestly, when I think of Laos, the first word that pops into my head is boring, but there are definitely some interesting aspects too! If you're looking for a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of BKK, I totally recommend Vientiane! It's perfect for those visa runs or just a chill break. Trust me, you won't regret it! It's super close to the Thai border, and trust me, it's totally unique! Chillin' with a few friends by the stunning Mekong River, sipping on some refreshing Beer Lao, and just soaking up the good vibes! ?✨

OMG, the nature is absolutely stunning! Those mountains are just gorgeous! Crossing the border from Thailand to Vientiane is such a breeze, super quick and easy! But let me tell you, the border crossing from Vietnam to Laos in the mountains? Total nightmare! It was freezing, we got stuck for at least 4 hours, and there were all these bribes and nonsense. Ugh!

Hey everyone! Let's dive into the world of logistics! It's all about the smooth flow of goods and services, and trust me, it's super fascinating. Stay tuned for some amazing insights and tips on how to navigate this dynamic field! ?✨

The city is super cute and totally walkable, but I definitely suggest staying near the Mekong River for the best vibes! There's this super vibrant street where all the magic happens!

Living in any country can be a dream, but let's be real—how many are actually considering Laos? I mean, when you have Bangkok with all its incredible comforts and a vibrant scene, it’s hard to look anywhere else, right? Plus, the energy there is just unmatched! From my experience in Thailand, the girls are just so much more sweet and "shy." It's honestly such a vibe talking to them compared to the more spoiled girls back home. ?✨ At the end of the day, everyone has their own unique taste and comfort zone. Just because a guy prefers the luxuries of modern life doesn’t mean it’s a big deal. We all have our preferences, and that’s totally okay!

There are like the cutest beer bars all over the city and even in the outskirts! The staff is super fun, and let me tell you, the food is not just cheap but also fresh and absolutely delicious! You have to check them out! If you've ever had the chance to visit Laos, you know that the beer here is absolutely the best in Southeast Asia and a true source of national pride! I've got to say, I've never witnessed a place that enjoys sipping on beer quite like Germany does! It's a whole vibe! So, even if the club scene isn’t popping, there are always those epic private parties and holidays that give us the perfect excuse to sip on beer all day, every day! ? It’s no wonder some folks are just living that chill life, right?

Just like Cambodia, it's definitely not a destination that everyone will fully understand. If you're the kind of person who wouldn't have embraced the adventure of traveling back in the day when it was a real challenge, and not just a stroll for anyone, you might not vibe with this destination. Absolutely!

Okay, so if you're all about that edgy adventure vibe and love getting in the mix with the locals—whether they're living it up or just getting by—and you're totally down to put in some effort for those amazing experiences, then Vientiane could seriously be your dream spot for a location-independent lifestyle! ?✨ One amazing thing is that, while many areas have that charmingly simple vibe, the modernization in Vientiane is totally taking off beyond the city center, and you can really see the influence of international players in the local hospitality scene! The foreign cuisine scene here is absolutely next level compared to other Southeast Asian cities of the same size. It's wild! Even though you're in a frontier country, you can totally indulge in all the Western luxuries whenever you want. How amazing is that?! Why not take a quick trip across the river to Thailand? It's the perfect spot for anything you can't find here! Locals with a bit of cash love to party over there when they're looking for a fun escape.✨

So, picture this: I'm chilling in a super cozy, air-conditioned coffee shop, totally crushing my to-do list. Then, on a whim, I can just stroll around the corner and dive into a whole different vibe—sitting in a rustic spot with a dirt floor, enjoying some cold beers with the locals. It's all about that barbecued chicken and sticky rice, and you know I'm eating it with my fingers! How amazing is that? It's absolutely amazing, and if you don't agree, feel free to head back to Bangkok and enjoy Sukhimvit!

Laotian women have a stunning resemblance to Thai women, but they often embrace a more voluptuous figure with beautifully larger breasts and an overall curvier silhouette. Honestly, suggesting they're unattractive is just absurd! If you really had the charm, style, and patience to appreciate the finer things, you wouldn't even think that for a moment. Just saying! Honestly, so many beautiful women come from all walks of life! Like, have you ever noticed how stunning the ladies working in LOCAL beer bars can be? They’re often super fun and open-minded, making them a great vibe to connect with. Trust me, you won’t regret putting your energy there! Totally the same vibe with girls working at those upscale hotels and fancy foreign restaurants, you know?

And let me tell you, once you tie the knot with a Laotian woman, there's a whole world of possibilities when it comes to freedom—seriously, the gender dynamics are super traditional! You wouldn't believe the wild things my buddy from Thailand and Laos manages to pull off, even with his well-known wife by his side. It's all about playing your cards right, fam!
Hey everyone! So, I’m a bit out of the loop on the whole dating scene with local ladies. The last time I visited, a local mentioned that it’s no longer illegal. What’s the scoop now? Let me know your thoughts! Honestly, I can't say for sure if he really knew what he was talking about, but let me tell you, I've had my fair share of amazing connections there, and I've never run into any problems. Just keeping it real! I've seen some guys get into trouble with the police, but honestly, it always seems to be the ones who are just making a scene and annoying everyone around them.

Honestly, I totally believe it would be such an amazing place to call home! The vibe is just incredible, and the people are some of the funniest and most welcoming you'll ever encounter. But, let's be real, it's probably not the best spot for a player to settle down. Just like in Cambodia, having long-term girlfriends is definitely the way to go! Sexual norms are definitely evolving, and while there are adventurous souls everywhere, don’t expect a crowd of “typical girls” to be all over you right off the bat. Laotian women tend to embrace a more traditional lifestyle, and in a close-knit community, word travels quickly!

You might find some opportunities there, and sure, some guys do thrive, but honestly, I can't say you'd have the same level of success as you would in a vibrant city in Thailand. It’s all about figuring out which girls are the more laid-back ones you can vibe with, right? It definitely takes some time to get that sense!

If you're on the hunt for a wife or a long-term girlfriend, this might just be the spot for you! While not everyone is in that boat, it's definitely a fantastic place for those who can work from anywhere. The opportunities are endless, and honestly, you could find yourself in a cozy home with a traditional Laotian woman who knows how to keep the fire burning and the kids happy. Sounds pretty ideal, right? Time and time again, I hear from Thai men about the challenges of marrying a Thai woman.

It's such an amazing spot to connect with affluent locals! Just like in Cambodia, you can build incredible relationships in no time if you know how to present yourself.✨

Just a little insight about Laotians – they might be a bit more reserved compared to Thais, at least until they’ve had a few drinks! ?✨ Sometimes, you might feel totally overlooked, even when you're out at a local hotspot, especially around those who seem to have it all. But don't worry! A couple of drinks can really break the ice, so just hang in there and let the good vibes flow.
When a Laotian vibes with you, get ready to experience their amazing fun-loving spirit and incredible generosity! I totally had this wild experience at a restaurant in the city! I was there, just vibing with the sweet old lady who owned the place, trying to charm the staff and her daughter. But like, her older husband, who was all about that local government life, was giving me some serious side-eye! Can you believe it? ?✨ So, one day out of the blue, he invited me to the SEA Games at the brand new stadium in Vientiane! He even got me a ticket, and we were cruising around in his SUV, enjoying some Beer Laos like the best of friends while chatting about business. It was such a vibe!

Honestly, it’s such a vibe! You’ll find that the locals, especially those from the lower class, are super welcoming and friendly. Picture this: you’re at a temple party or some fun gathering, and someone just plops down next to you, chatting away in their language, totally unbothered if you get it or not. They’ll be raising their glasses and making sure you’re having the best time all night long! It’s all about those genuine connections, right? It might be a little bit of a buzzkill, but hey, that's just how it goes sometimes!

One thing that totally stands out when comparing it to Thailand is the way they share a single glass at the table! Like, everyone takes turns sipping from it, and it just shows how vibrant that communal vibe really is! So heartwarming! ?? #CommunityLove Once you’re in with the Laotians, you’re totally in! It’s like joining an exclusive club where the vibes are unmatched!

This spot is just perfect for getting out into the countryside! Whether you're into motorbiking, caving, or any other outdoor adventures, you’ll totally love it! Landmines are definitely an issue, but if you stay on the well-trodden paths, there’s some absolutely stunning scenery to explore!

If someone suggests skipping Laos, I say it's time to skip THEM instead! Seriously, unless you're not ready to dive into something truly unique and vintage, you don't want to miss out on this gem! You know, some people just can't handle it, but for me, it's one of those magical spots where if I let go and embrace my wild side, I could totally lose myself in the beauty of life's simple pleasures and be the happiest person ever. ?

So back in 2018, I spent 6 months talking to a Ukrainian girl I met on a dating site, and I screened and evaluated her well. She passed all examinations and urged me to travel to Ukraine to meet her, so I booked both her and my tickets and off we went.

It was one of the worst experiences of my life. When we got into a furious dispute at the flat, she threatened to have one of her Ukrainian male friends kill me, even saying "you'll never make it back to your little island".

After our fight, I suggested I'd sleep on the couch to let her cool down. Then I sent her a mangina message on WhatsApp, saying I was sorry and that it was our final night together, and I didn't want to quarrel. She then appeared in her skimpy silk Victoria Secret night blouse and asked that I enter the bedroom and sleep in the bed.

I do not advocate anyone go there for dating, these women are no different than American women; they are feminists with a huge princess mindset.

The highlights included two instances of bad sex with minimal effort from her.

2) Princess attitude and mentality far worse than western women (didn't expect this).
3) Obsession with money and material possessions (she is looking for a guy who earns €300,000 or more per year).
4) She was like dating a ghetto black chick, hitting me randomly 2-3 times throughout the trip and screamed at me in Russian.
5) Broken English and her misinterpreting me or any kind of English humor (even though she claimed to be fluent in English).

After around the second day, I was walking on eggshells around her, watching everything I said or did since she was so critical of everything. It was a significantly worse experience than dating a Western woman. I'm excited to return to dating European/American women.

The positive aspects were that I was able to visit Kyiv, take numerous photographs, and she ironed my clothing and cleaned the place I rented on AirBNB.

Kyiv's biggest feature is its affordable prices, with meals ranging from €6-7 and drinks from €1-2. Taxi cabs are quite cheap, costing only €5-6 to travel throughout Kyiv in heavy traffic. My AirBNB cost about €50 per night, but I got a lovely one; lesser ones are around €20.
2) The architecture is magnificent; it's a tourist city, yet the culture is intact.
3) The meal is excellent; I had both traditional Ukrainian and Georgian dishes.
4) There are a lot of thin women there, but they are quite cold and unapproachable. I found Polish and Romanian to be far more friendly and less stoic/cold.

5) Easy access to and from Europe's major city (nonstop flights from London).

After reviewing the existing data here, I decided to do everyone a favor and create something up to date and beneficial for anyone heading to Austin, Tx whether with buddies or solo. It's a nice, tiny, and safe city with many individuals trying too hard to appear cool.

City vibe

Austin is a rather laid-back city. Not only does it have one of the largest universities in the country, but it also has a thriving tech and start-up scene (Apple is establishing itself here and will employ tens of thousands of people); Dell and Whole Foods are headquartered here, and Google, Cengage, and other large firms have sizable offices here as well. While the city is still quite new, there is a diverse range of women in terms of age, income, and experience.

Anyone with an open mind and a positive mindset will have a wonderful time here. People in Austin are kind, but it's also quietly cliquey, which anyone with social skills can break into.

Women

A lot of people complained that Austin had become a "cock-fest." Yes, many individuals who move here believe they will be able to pull stunning blond asses all day. Unfortunately, most of these guys are terrible and couldn't pull an ONS with a chubby Becky if their lives depended on it. An ordinary guy with a poor game can do well here, as long as they don't have approach anxiety.

The quality of ladies varies depending on where you are in downtown and whatever bar you are at...more information is provided below. There are plenty of super cute here, the majority of them are simple, and pulling an ONS is simple if you're not a newbie, and considerably easier if you're attractive.

On weekends, you'll see a variety of girls from Texas cities who are visiting Austin for the weekend. These are usually simple pulls, and they aren't limited to one area of downtown; they're everywhere. These are often cool gals from Texas' whacker cities (Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas). In my experience, these ladies will visit in groups of two or three, perhaps with a gay tossed in for good measure. Usually, they'll meet up with groups of people—often a large number of dudes—nearly none of whom are real cockblock threats, though the obese friend is rather prevalent. Make an early assessment of if she has really high/Christian morals to guarantee you are not wasting your time. Most females here are down, but if she's from far east or west Texas, you should cut your losses and move on. I have several friends who visited, ignored my advise, and ended up with nothing more than a snuggle buddy, and these are people who can pull; even if you're in Austin, it's still Texas, so you've been warned.

That being said, there are lots of openings. One of the most effective things I do is keep mobile and avoid becoming fixated on a female simply because she is attractive and appears to be interested in you. Be social, mobile, and don't become myopic.

To each his own, but the "dick" game does not work well in most venues. This city has lots of high-end tail who can see right through the "dick game" veneer and will not hesitate to call you out on it. As always, it works on the majority of college females, but if neg. is your thing, you're far better off with gentle teasing. In most settings, the girls are very pleasant, and it's easy to approach the majority of them, especially if they smile or express IOI. Bitch shields are popular in the Warehouse District and at several bars on West 6th.

Competition

It's common to see attractive woman hanging out with other men, but 98% of them are weaksauce betas or gay. Waiting for your time is nice, but bagging up and rolling on a bunch is a breeze, especially if you're doing something vaguely cool with your life, have your shit together, and can talk up a crowd.

There are a lot of hipster dudes who work in restaurants and cafés, play an instrument, and act like they're hot shit. They're not and are frequently insecure, yet they have a lot of attractive female pals. In my three years here, I only had one issue with this, and it led in me having to finish a fight that some kid in skinny jeans began. It's uncommon, yet it can happen anywhere.

If you're conducting a night game at a bar or club, there's no need to settle. Massive tail and plenty of opportunities.

For The Solo Traveler

If you're traveling alone, you should consider a few things.

1.Will you be here on Thursday night and/or the weekend?
2.Are you comfortable gaming at night alone?
3.Will you be here on the third Thursday of the month?

1.If you're here on Thursday/weekend, I recommend staying downtown. There are numerous options available, including all major hotels. It is much easier to get a woman back to your downtown hotel, and you can ride a pedicab back, which is an excellent way to escalate the situation.

2.If you're comfortable running the game alone, virtually anywhere downtown will suffice. Revert to #1; if you're not comfortable running the night game alone, stay on South Congress. As noted in the preceding thread, the Austin motel is on a tight budget. Hotel San Jose is elegant and has a fantastic bar that is regularly packed with 7+ trim. South Congress is ideal for running day games, and it's a quick trip to downtown if you want to go out at night.

3.On the third Thursday of each month, Congress Avenue is full with people, artists, musicians, and so on. There are many couples who attend, but it is still simple to discover lovely women in pairs and trios. Third Thursday provides you with a limitless number of topics to discuss, and if you structure your approach appropriately, you can walk her right back into your hotel.

In addition to the foregoing, gaming at Whole Foods' main shop (5th and Lamar) is insanely entertaining and extremely simple. Central Market is also nice, but it is a little more away from S. Congress. Going at peak hours is ideal, however there are cute gals at both locations all day.

Barton Springs is a naturally fed pool that is the universe's gift to humanity. The previous data sheet stated that there are a lot of college ladies topless, which is simply false. The only topless girls are hippie chicks, the majority of whom you don't want to look at. Austin is a liberal city, but do you really believe a 20-year-old college lady will sunbathe topless in front of hundreds of men and families? No way. Swim up to a cute female and ask her a question or make an amusing statement (the amount of people allows for infinite discussion, but I'd avoid making harsh criticisms of others). I smashed my first Texan here on the first try. Money.

Black Swan Yoga is not for the faint of heart. A popular yoga studio that accepts donations is located downtown, near Whole Foods; you don't even need your own mat or towel. "Sweaty yoga," as they described it, is simply great. Thousands of ladies in sports bras and short shorts sweating and practicing yoga. I used to have amazing luck here, but as word spread, it became increasingly saturated with betas, resulting in a drop in the number of ladies willing to be talked up after class. Still feasible, but not for the weak. Tuesday 6:30 is a good session, but get there early or you won't get a seat. 6:10 should be sufficient.

Travelling with Friend(s)

If you plan on pulling anything, make sure you have an adequate sized room. Austin chicks are pretty open, but don't expect most of them to bang you as your wingman crushes guts with her friend; while I could be mistaken, it appears unlikely.

Almost all large hotels will be adequate, with convenient access (walking distance) to downtown and restaurants.

Parts of downtown

West Sixth Street

This is the more upscale section of 6th Street, where you'll typically find the most stunning women. All of these places are close together, so you can spend the entire night here and still bar hop. The players here are primarily beta, however this is where I've seen the most competitiveness. Some may say that the Warehouse district offers top-tier competition; I disagree, but that could just be my style. Drinks are significantly more pricey, but still quite reasonable in comparison to Los Angeles, New York, and Miami.

Bars I Like

KeyBar - An outdoor spot with a diverse age range. The game is easier when it is crowded. You're less likely to have to approach an isolated group, but you can approach and/or isolate a female near the bar, even if she's standing with her pals.

Dog Wood - primarily an outside pub with a little inside. Right adjacent to the Keybar. Cool staff, with 7-8+ members, the most of whom are betas. I have heard the most basic PUA material butchered here more than once. Cockblocking by girlfriends is possible here, but it is rather simple to avoid if you can placate the group.

Molotov - Next door to the two above, and, like the others, crowded with ladies. Darker and louder than Key and Dog Wood, although the top level has a decent view, is quieter, and easier to pull, especially if you smoke/want to smoke.

If your game is strong, you could spend the entire night at these three bars and do really well. J-Blacks and the other bars across the street are packed with hotties, but the service is subpar, and it's frequently populated by douchey males that cockblock, act tough, and generally suck at life. Still a good alternative, and if you meet women at the top three, you're likely to end up here.

East 6th Street (also known as Dirty 6th)

This is the most infamous section of 6th Street. Tons of bars, tons of women, and tons of garbage. I'm not a fan of this section of downtown. It's primarily amateur hour, and the females I've gotten from here are usually too intoxicated for my taste by the time they return to my spot, and/or they're lousy in bed. There is plenty of variety and some quality.

Bars I Like

The Jackalope: Not for everyone. Probably serves the greatest burgers in Austin. It's mostly a punk pub, but it attracts a diverse crowd. Snuff flicks or hardcore violent and sexual Asian films are frequently shown on television. If you don't like tattooed rocker chicks, go on.

Red Rooster - Usually full of ladies, with 3-5 betas. Approaching chicks here, immediately in front of guys who have no idea what to do with them, provides me a lot of joy. And it's ridiculously easy. To be honest, I've seen more males here disrespecting our gender than anywhere else in Austin. There's plenty of opportunity if you want them young, dumb, and intoxicated.

Maggie Maes - A historic Austin bar with numerous levels and patrons of all ages. Not a sophisticated establishment (shots in plastic glasses), but it has a dance floor and is easy to get out of if you can approach. Minimal competition.
Any other bar in the vicinity will be around the same. Yes, there are some modifications, but the setting is essentially the same. Personally, I do not like Pure. It's full of skeezy hoes who I probably wouldn't bang, and fights occur frequently. Looks cool, but you're better off going somewhere else and avoiding the trashy wannabes.

Rainey St.

Rainey Street used to be nothing but residences, but the homeowners decided to rezone to improve their property value. Due to the large amount of people walking up and down the street all night, all of the residences have been converted into bars.

Parking here may be a problem. Arrive early if you're driving and don't want to walk for a mile or two.

Lustre Pearl: This should be your starting point. There are several bars on the street, but this is where I always start. Great bar for hanging out, and there are plenty of attractive women here, especially on Friday and Saturday. Typically, I see 8 or more trims there around 10:30, and they usually cruise over to downtown after a few beers. Usually mixed groups, however it is not rare to see three or more girls together without the traditional betas.

I've been to a few other bars, but I can't remember their names and don't feel the need to search them up.

There's plenty of tail at most bars in this neighborhood. A basic visual spot-check is sufficient, as most congested areas have people spilling out onto the front (remember, these were all houses once).

If I'm out here, I usually grab a number or two and then continue on to downtown. Works like a charm, albeit I'll remain around if the girl is smoking and appears depressed.

Night Plan

I'd start at Luster Pearl, then visit other bars on Rainey Street before moving on to Dirty 6th, or start on West 6th and continue to Dirty 6th if necessary.

I'll shred the rest of this puppy tomorrow, including information on the eastside (there are two distinct parts of "east 6th"), but I wanted to put it up in case anyone is passing through town.
